The ninth season of Movies in the Park was a huge success in Heritage Park with “Frozen,” said Carol Louthan, Town of Gardnerville office manager.
“We had quite a crowd. Everyone enjoyed the warm evening. Bounce N Play was there for the kids along with vendors who provided snacks of all types,” Louthan said. “The Astronomical Society of Nevada, Carson Valley Chapter was on hand with telescopes for attendees to view the moon and the few stars that came out from behind the clouds.”
There are more movies to come with “Percy Jackson & the Sea of Monsters” on June 27, “Despicable Me 2” on July 18 and the final movie of the summer season “Back to the Future” on Aug. 8.
Consult the website www.gardnerville-nv.gov for rating information. Even though all of the movies are rated PG, some movies are not appropriate for all audiences.
