Dr. Gene Hattori is The Douglas County Historical Society’s February speaker.
The lecture is 7 p.m. Feb. 13 at the Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center, 1477 Highway 395 in Gardnerville. Doors open 6 p.m.
Hattori is curator of anthropology at the Nevada State Museum. He is an archaeologist specializing in historic and prehistoric archaeology of Nevada and surrounding regions. He will speak on Nevada’s oldest petroglyphs.
