Methodist women host craft fair

Members of the Carson Valley United Methodist Church invite the community to their annual Holiday Craft Faire & Bake Sale on Saturday, Nov. 2. Carson Valley United Methodist Church hosts it annual Christmas craft fair Nov. 2.

Doors open 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the church's fellowship hall, located at 1375 Centerville Lane in Gardnerville.

Hand-crafted items, both for decorating and gift-giving will be for sale. There will also be silent auction gifts, raffle prizes and many other items. An array of baked goods, jams and other treats will be available.

A luncheon will be served in conjunction with the craft fair. The meal will be served 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.. The menu includes lasagna, garlic bread, salad, coffee and tea.

Tickets for the luncheon are $5 for adults, and $2 for children ages 8 and younger. Soft drinks and individual desserts are available for an additional charge.
