Little Miss pageant crowns new queens

Douglas County crowned a dozen new queens in February.

The ninth annual Little Miss Douglas County Pageant was Feb. 22 at the Dance Workshop Little Theater in Minden.

"It was a fun filled day," organizers said. "This year our baby pageant contestants ranged in age from 17 months to 4-years-old, each contestant came out and wowed the judges in their party dresses."

Baby Miss Douglas County went to 17-month-old Kori Sadabseng, Wee Miss Douglas County was 3-year-old Emma Johnson and Tiny Miss Douglas County was won by 4-year-old Mariah Mosby.

The baby photogenic winner was 4-year-old Brooklyn Salmon, and the baby model winner was 2-year-old Delilah Kiltz.

The Little Miss Douglas County Pageant is for contestants ages 6 and older who compete in a two-minute interview, modeling of their party dress and talent.

The Little Miss Douglas County crown went to 8-year-old Mia Stewart, 11-year-old Kirsi Whear won Petite Miss Douglas County, and Jr. Miss Douglas County was awarded to 13-year-old Daelynne Muscott.

Overall high point winner was 11-year-old Mckenna Seidlitz. Alexa Field, 12, won Little Miss photogenic, and the two model winners were 10-year-old Haylee Davis-Tate and 13-year-old Ivy Armstrong.
