Watercolor classes

Douglas County Senior Center offers a watercolor class 9 a.m.-noon the second and fourth Thursday for all levels. Cost, $20 per class includes materials and picture to take home. Information, Lada Trimble, 882-6061.

A drop-in watercolor painting session is 1-3:30 p.m. Wednesdays starting Jan. 8 for the month. All levels of artists are invited to participate at the UNR Extension Building on Waterloo Lane, Gardnerville. Fee is $3, and students bring their own materials. Vickie Kingman will be assisting.
