Community theater group finds home

Carson Valley Community Theatre has finally got its act together. They are taking over a performance and workshop space at the Carson Valley Arts Council building, which already houses its box office and storage space. “We have everything there now,” president Lucille Rao said. “For us, it’s going to be a rehearsal hall. It’s great. I feel like we’re really moving ahead and meeting the goals we set as a theater company.” The space is currently being leased by Sapphire Wizard who will be moving Dec. 31, and the community theater will take possession on Jan.1. “We’re renting it to …
