During the final week of Lent, St. Gall Catholic Church is hosting a prayer path through Christ’s life as he prepares for crucifixion.
Embracing God’s Call is open through Saturday in the church’s Faith/Genesis classroom.
“This prayer path is designed to welcome you to explore your relationship with Jesus, as well as be reminded of those who met Jesus while he walked on earth,” reads a sign outside the room.
In the quiet room, surrounded by meditative music, participants walk through more than a dozen areas and reflect on various topics such as family, forgiveness, spirituality, faith or baptism.
“It takes however long they want to spend,” church secretary Rocky Barth said. “People can pass you up or stand with you and reflect on what it says.”
The prayer path is open to the public free of charge.
St. Gall is holding a Holy Thursday service at 7 p.m., and Stations of the Cross at 12:10 p.m. Friday followed by a 7 p.m. service.
