February lecture features petroglyphs

Dr. Gene Hattori is The Douglas County Historical Society’s February speaker. The lecture is 7 p.m. Feb. 13 at the Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center, 1477 Highway 395 in Gardnerville. Doors open 6 p.m. Hattori is curator of anthropology at the Nevada State Museum. He is an archaeologist specializing in historic and prehistoric archaeology of Nevada and surrounding regions.
