Steve Sweet works for the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency.
Age: 35 years old

Job: Senior environmental specialist for the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency

Sweet has been riding bikes all his life but admitted he has slacked off in recent years. He’s excited at reversing the trend as he plans to bike from his Al Tahoe home to the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency building on Kingsbury Grade every day this week.

It might only be a distance of six miles round trip, but Sweet admitted he could use the exercise.

“I am not in the best shape right now, so going for the whole week will be a big challenge for me,” he said. “It’s probably something that I need to do anyway, both for myself and for the environment.”
