The Incline Village General Improvement District Board of Trustees unanimously adopted the proposed 2008-2009 fiscal year budget at its meeting Thursday at 893 Southwood Blvd.

The proposed budget, which can be viewed in its entirety by call IVGID at (775) 832-1100, includes about a $730,000 surplus in estimated profit for next fiscal year, which runs from July 1 to June 30, 2009.

Trustees also unanimously adopted the proposed single stream recycling program at Wednesday's meeting. The program will begin on June 30 of this year, making it the first recycling program of its kind in the state of Nevada.
