Following a series of storms that brought some much needed precipitation to the Lake Tahoe Basin, sunny weather is expected to return to the area this weekend and into next week.South Shore ski resorts reported receiving up to 23 inches of snow during the past week, a welcome change from the historically dry conditions experienced in January and February.But the mostly clear weather of the past two months will make a quick comeback.
