Luke quietly passed into the Lord's arms on Friday, March 1, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. A life long resident of Carson Valley. Luke was born April 10, 1916 to Chris H. Neddenriep and Kate Heitman Neddenriep. High school graduation was June 1934 and that same year he attended the University of Nevada in the fall. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, Luke joined the US Navy and served four years as a signalman, second class.He worked with his father, Chris for years at the Carson Valley Mercantile and in 1960, he and his wife, Martha, became owners.
