Some good sales at Walker Thrift Store

Every week of the month, the Walker Thrift Store has a different 50 percent off sale on store items. Starting the month, from March 4 through 8 all shoes, purses and snow gear will be marked down by half their already good prices. An additional new bonus for those who recycle with their shop is that anyone recycling for payment of $50 or more will receive 50 percent off on any items in the thrift store. Come check them out and save some money.

Senior Center fun

The Senior Center in Walker is having no-cost bingo games after lunch on two Fridays, March 8 and March 22. To give yourself a real treat, come down for one of their delicious lunches before the fun and games begin. Please call the Senior Center at (530) 495-2323 to let them know that you plan on lunching there before bingo.

The cost is $30 for golf and lunch, or $15 for only their barbecue lunch of ribs and all the trimmings.
