Veterans services officers in Gardnerville and Topaz

The Rural Outreach for Veterans Enrichment and Resources Program will visit Gardnerville and Topaz the last week of February, continuing the Nevada Office of Veterans Services' effort to reach out to veterans in rural areas of the state.

Veterans and military personnel will be able to meet with a Veterans Service Officer on Tuesday and Wednesday to learn about benefits and services they may be eligible for, but unaware of.

Veterans and family members can make an appointment to meet with a Veterans Service Officer to discuss their benefits. Walk-in appointments will also be accepted.

For more information, or to schedule an advanced appointment, contact Pamela Roberts (775) 688-1653 ext. 6 or Barbara at (775) 321-4880.

Veterans are advised to bring a copy of their DD-214 discharge document and/or current VA claim(s) correspondence.

If the claim involves their dependents, veterans should bring marriage and/or birth certificates as well as social security numbers of their dependents.
