On Dec. 24, 2012, we said farewell to our matriarch, Zellah “Jean” Tovey (Cruickshank). Jean, she wasn't fond of Zellah (which always made me laugh), stayed strong on her own for almost two years after her husband, Albert Joseph Tovey, passed away on March 9, 2011. Before his passing, the two of them hadn't been apart for more than two weeks in their entire 64 years of marriage.
