The R-C Morning Report

Wind's blowing this morning, but I can tell we haven't seen any precipitation from this storm yet. Road controls are in effect for the high Sierra, including Carson Pass and Echo Summit, and there's a westbound chain check on Interstate 80. Both Heavenly and Kirkwood are reporting an inch of snow during the last 24 hours.

A hazardous weather outlook was issued by the National Weather Service this morning says the storm will affect the Sierra and Western Nevada into tonight. A foot of snow is possible in the higher elevations of the central Sierra through tonight, with up to …
