Talk to governor about traffic signal

In regards to the traffic signal at Airport Road and Highway 395, the state said they are doing a study on the intersection.

Well, the state will not put up the signal ever, just as the Nevada Department of Transportation would not put in the signals at Johnson Lane or Stephanie Way.

By now Douglas County should know this. The only way these signals were put up was because the Nevada governor approved them.

Douglas County Senior Civil Engineer Jeff Foltz should already know this.

As NDOT, with all the staff studies would not put the signals up. So in order to get a signal at Airport Road, all we need to do is have Foltz call Gov. Sandoval and request that he approve this signal at Airport Road. That is the only way the signal will go up.

So, please call the governor.
