It is time again for Douglas County Senior Services' annual 90-plus birthday celebration.This year's 90-plus birthday celebration is 10:30 a.m. Feb. 20 at the Douglas County Senior Center located at 2300 Meadow Lane in Gardnerville. "About 16 years ago, the senior center decided to honor those who had reached the age of 90 years old," Recreation Specialist Amanda Reid said in a press release. "At that time, we had 16 seniors who founded our 90-plus Club. Today, we feel it is just as important to acknowledge and celebrate those who have been inducted into the club."
