State adds late season white goose hunt

For the first time Nevada waterfowl hunters can take advantage of a newly added late season white goose hunt, this hunt includes snow goose and Ross's goose. The season begins Sunday and runs through Feb. 28.

Federal regulations have allowed for late season white goose hunts in an effort to relive the burgeoning pressure of these populations on the breeding grounds they are returning to.
