The Douglas High School agricultural program and the Carson Valley chapter of FFA were the presenters at the Jan. 29 meeting of Minden Rotary.Agriculture teacher Allyson Lammiman presented four DHS students who were chapter winners for the FFA SAE (ag project) of the month with their awards. Presenters were Jessica Martin on vet science at Quail Ridge Animal Hospital, Brittany Clark specifically on horses, Austin Beaty on vision agriculture pertaining to organic produce and turkeys, and Kelsey Lalonde on vet science at Carson Valley Vet.
