The public is being asked to help identify a suspect in an attempted burglary Dec. 29 at the Radio Shack in the Carson Valley Fair shopping center, 1329 Highway 395, Gardnerville.A witness called the Douglas County Sheriff's Office at 9:35 p.m. to report a man had tried to break into the store by shattering the glass in the front door with a wooden bat.The witness said he yelled at the suspect who fled on foot through the shopping center, and disappeared around the corner of Rite-Aid.The glass was broken, but the suspect apparently did not enter the store.The man is …
