EDITOR:I was very inspired by Scott Neuffer's article in The Record-Courier that appeared on Jan. 16 about the importance of education. With the advance of technology, the mechanization of industry, and the continued increase in the use of robotics in factories, education is more important than ever before. The division of society into those below the poverty line and those who are not will in large part be determined by those who do or do not possess skills necessary to survive in our 21st Century world.
