Give a cat a home


The Douglas Animal Control Shelter is bursting at the seams with cats available for adoption. If you need a furry companion to share your life now is the time to not only help the shelter but enrich your existence.

There are cats of all sizes, ages and temperaments. If you have space in your heart to share with a four legged friend this is the perfect opportunity.

The shelter's hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday for adoption only. It is located and 921 Pinenut Road just across from the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
