A Gardnerville Ranchos man accused of accosting teenage girls pleaded guilty to two counts of disorderly conduct on Wednesday.
Edgar Oronia-Camacho, 24, was arrested Sept. 19 after a man stopped his vehicle adjacent to the Kimmerling car wash and started honking at a 17-year-old girl.
Through an interpreter, Oronia-Camacho told Perkins he was coming home from work and saw the girl.
"I saw her at the car wash and started honking without thinking," he said. Oronia-Camacho described an earlier incident that he drove back and forth past a girl's driveway.
"It wasn't as many times as they said it was," he said through the interpreter.
Perkins pointed out that Oronia-Camacho might be subject to deportation as a consequence of his pleading guilty. He told Perkins he is married and has two baby daughters.
