The Douglas High School speech and debate team enjoyed speaking on their home turf Jan. 4-5.While other students were relaxing on their last few days of winter break, these students, along with debaters from 20 schools across Northern Nevada, were competing at the annual home tournament at Douglas High."The Douglas County schools, CVMS, DHS, and PWL, did their community proud and dominated in many events," said team coach Paul Mileo.On Jan. 4, the speech events took place.
