RC Morning Report

A pre-trial conference is scheduled for today in the case of a man accused of assault against the woman he was living with. David C. Springer, 30, is denying the charges and scheduled to go to trial next week. He has been in custody since April 7, 2012.

State and federal aircraft will be dropping seed in the Pine Nuts today in an effort to beat the cheat grass to the punch. If you're having fun out there over the next few weeks and hear a low-flying aircraft, don't look up because you might get a face full.

It's 2 degrees here in Genoa this morning, which is 4 degrees warmer than it was on Sunday morning. Expect sunny skies under a clear, cold sky. The high temperature won't make it to freezing today. The good news is that we'll be back up into the 40s by Wednesday.
