The Tahoe-Douglas Elks Lodge is sponsoring its annual Hoop Shoot National Basketball Free Throw Contest on Tuesday at Meneley Elementary School at 3:30 p.m.The contest is open to all Douglas County residents ages 8 to 13.Each contestant will have 25 free throw attempts. Contestants must wear tennis shoes and use the provided basketballs.
