Sunridge residents Kirsten and Eddie Shope are the parents of a son, who is believed to be the first Douglas County baby born in 2013.With a projected due date of Jan. 23, Brayden Grey surprised everyone and arrived early, being born 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at home."It's a lot of fun because it's a special thing," 26-year-old Eddie said.
