Mary Elizabeth Haight (”Betty”), 92, longtime resident of Gardnerville, Nev., passed away peacefully on Dec. 12, 2012 with her companion Don Carlyle at her side. She leaves a son, Randy Haight, of Concord, Calif.; daughter, Suzanne Pittson; son-in-law, Jeff Pittson and grandson, Evan Pittson of Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.Born Mary Elizabeth Wilson on Aug. 24, 1920 in Stettler, Alberta, Canada, she moved to Oakland, Calif. in 1924, graduating from Oakland Technical High School in 1937.
