Calling the beating of a 5-year-old boy "way beyond parental discipline," District Judge Michael Gibbons ordered a 27-year-old Gardnerville Ranchos man Monday to serve an additional nine months in jail, and forbid him to use corporal punishment.Gibbons sentenced DeWayne S. A.
