EDITOR:On Dec. 11, the Nevada Commission on Judicial Selection forwarded three applicants names to Gov. Brian Sandoval who will select the next District Court Judge for the Ninth Judicial District, Dept 1. It is a travesty that Douglas County District Attorney Mark Jackson's name was not among the three.After reading all seven applications, (posted online at: nevadajudiciary.us), it was very clear to me that Mark is the most qualified person to replace retiring Judge Dave Gamble.
