EDITOR:Studying the arts prepares students considerably for the workplace.According to Americans for Arts, "U.S. employers rate creativity and innovation among the top five skills that will increase in importance in the next five years, and rank it among the top challenges facing CEOs." Additionally, "Employers and administrators (76 percent) agree that a college degree in the arts is the most significant indicator of creativity in a prospective job candidate."In Douglas County we don't support the arts.
