The R-C Morning Report

It's going to be a busy Tuesday today. The Nevada Supreme Court is interviewing candidates for District Judge Dave Gamble's seat in Carson City today. They'll knock the list back to three, from whom the governor will select the winner. Meanwhile, Judge Dave will be holding court this morning with three sentencings, including that of Wildrose burglar Ryan Hiltz.

Douglas County School Superintendent Lisa Noonan will receive her performance review tonight, and the school board will review high school graduation rates. The board meets 3:30 p.m. at Douglas High School. Dr. Noonan's review won't be until 7:05 p.m.

Today's weather will be almost balmy with a high in the upper 50s and sunny skies. It will be a little breezy as a storm front rolls into Western Nevada that could bring snow to the Valley floor on Wednesday. There's a winter weather advisory in effect for the Sierra, including Lake Tahoe and Alpine County.
