NHP scores second black jack in traffic arrests

A total of 21 motorists were arrested in the greater Reno-Sparks area by the Nevada Highway Patrol over the Thanksgiving holiday. Twelve of the arrests were for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs with one being a felony DUI. Eight others were for misdemeanor traffic warrants stemming from failing to appear for a traffic citation or failure to comply with the court. One person was arrested for failure to maintain travel lane, felony possession of a schedule I & II controlled substance with the intent to sell, trafficking, and conspiracy to violate the uniformed controlled substance act.Last year …
