Donald Rooney, cherished father, grandfather and friend, peacefully passed into the loving arms of our Lord in Gardnerville, Nev. on Nov. 9, 2012. Donald was 90 years old. He married Charlene Alford in 1944 and together they raised three children. In 1960 the Rooney family settled in Napa, Calif., where they lived for 44 years. Donald and his sons built their home on Sunview Drive.In 2003 Don & Charlene moved to Gardnerville, Nev. to be closer to children and grandchildren.
