The R-C Morning Report

A high-wind advisory goes into effect 10 p.m. tonight and will last until 10 a.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. Expect southwest winds of 20-35 mph, gusting to 55 mph. Wind-prone areas along Highway 395 and Interstate 580 could see gusts of up to 70 mph.

A Gardnerville Ranchos man who was arrested on a second felony DUI is scheduled to appear for sentencing before Judge Dave Gamble in Douglas County District Court this morning. David John Caylor, 45, was arrested in March after a neighbor reported he'd pulled in front of his house at midnight asking for a woman.

Today will see mostly cloudy skies with a high temperature near 62 degrees. Expect the wind to pick up at about 9 a.m., gusting to 40 mph until 9 p.m. when it really gets blustery. It might rain a little over the next two days, but don't expect too much.
