Former R-C columnist Linda Monohan dies at home

Former Record-Courier columnist Linda Marie Monohan, who delighted readers for years with stories about her family and neighbors in Fish Springs, died Nov. 15 at her home. She was 70.

Linda was diagnosed with dementia 4-1/2 years ago which developed into Alzheimer's disease.

She was cared for at home by Norbert, her husband of 52 years, and her children and grandchildren.

"She died early Thursday with (daughters) Cindy, Christy and Lisa, and her sister Bonnie by her bedside," Norbert said.

Linda was born July 2, 1942, in Pacoima, Calif., to Eva and William Rosten.
