We had a pretty good turnout at our open house to meet R-C Publisher Pat Bridges on Wednesday night. Thanks to all those who attended. Pat, who is also ad manager at the Nevada Appeal, is living in Minden.The Douglas County commissioners meeting that would typically be at Stateline this afternoon has been cancelled due to the impending Thanksgiving holiday.
