Voters turn out for Election Day

Although more than half the Douglas County electorate cast ballots early this year, voters still turned out in droves Tuesday morning, with lines forming outside some polling places before 7 a.m.On voters' minds were issues ranging from the economy and job creation to women's rights and the protection of constitutional freedoms. In Douglas County, where Republicans outnumber Democrats 2-1, many voters expressed discontent with the incumbent president."There's so much at stake.
