Tahoe Nevada State Park plan workshop is Nov. 16

Nevada Division of State Parks is in the process of updating the Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park's general management plan.

This second public workshop is an opportunity for the public to provide input on two proposed general management plan alternatives.

Among the attractions in the park are Spooner Lake, Sand Harbor, Hidden Beach, the Flume Trail, the Tahoe Rim Trail and Cave Rock, occupying 13,000 acres in the Carson Range of the Sierra Nevada.

The workshop is being held 7-9 p.m. Nov. 16 from in the lobby of the Richard H. Bryan building at 901 South Stewart St. in Carson City. It will begin with a presentation on the two alternatives, followed by an opportunity to discuss preferences, issues, and other comments with state park staff.
