EDITOR:One of my favorite quotes has always been: “If you want to touch the past, touch a rock. If you want to touch the present, touch a flower. If you want to touch the future, touch a life.” On Sept. 15 more than 150 community members joined the Suicide Prevention Network of Douglas County to do just that, touch a life.The Stepping Stones on the Journey was the theme for this year’s annual Walk in Memory, Walk in Hope and I’d like to thank all those that participated in our awareness event.
