Wednesday's job fair at the Carson Valley Inn was packed with people looking for work. There were quite a few jobs on the table as well, including front and center on the county's table the job of human resources director. Darcy Worms left to work for the state.

The National Weather Service says it just might rain today, and that there could be 1-3 inches of snow in Alpine and Mono counties above 9,000 feet. If it does rain, it will rain a lot, with the possibility of heavy showers increasing as you go south from Highway 50.
