The Stateline gaming win dropped to near their lowest levels for August, according to figures released Thursday by the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
Stateline casinos took in $22.01 million, down 19.45 percent from August 2011, and just above the $21.09 million they took in during August 2009, the nadir for the last five years.
August was only the second month of the fiscal year and the Stateline casinos are already down 9.6 percent from the previous year.
The casinos at Stateline are the chief source for Douglas County's gaming taxes.
