Jeanneane passed away September 30, 2012, 41 days shy of her 84th birthday, with family members and friends present. She was born November 10, 1928 in Chickahsa, Okla. to parents Vernon E. “Judge” Thornton and Kathryn “Katy” Marshall Thornton. They had raised their family near Ninnekah, Okla. She was the youngest of their three daughters and one son. She graduated high school in Ninnekah in 1946 then attended Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha, Okla. She later attended U.C.
