The Record-Courier is soliciting nominations for the annual community awards honoring the those residents who have made Carson Valley a better place to live. Nominations are being sought for citizen of the year, service club of the year, business of the year, employee of the year and volunteer of the year in the annual Carson Valley Community Awards. The deadline for nominations is 5 p.m. Oct. 26. Award winners will be honored at a gala dinner on Nov. 10 at the Carson Valley Inn.
