Teen Read Week celebrates Halloween

Celebrate Teen Read Week at the Douglas County Public Library by entering a short story or poem about your best Halloween experience.Stories should be between 500 and 2,500 words. Entrants must be in sixth through 12th grade. Contest entries will be accepted through Oct. 13. The prize is a Halloween pumpkin filled with candy. The Teen Read Week writing contest is sponsored by the Friends of Douglas County Public Library. Some entries may be posted online.
