Pick a pumpkin at the 4-H pumpkin patch and enjoy a family style carnival event 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Oct. 6 at Lampe Park. Activities include a pumpkin run, face painting, food, pumpkin bowling, raffle, silent auction, petting zoo, cupcake walk, bounce house, pumpkin decorating, and carnival games. A youth costume contest will be held at noon with prizes for the winners. Smokey Bear will be on hand, and youth can sit in a real fire truck.
