Gearing up for GED Boot Camp

After a successful inaugural General Educational Development (GED) "Boot Camp" class at the Western Nevada College Douglas campus, the Adult Literacy and Language department of WNC is offering the course in Minden again this fall. There is no charge to participate in the Boot Camp; all classes are free.

The six-week program provides intensive instruction and preparation for students interested in obtaining their GED, which is the equivalent of a high school diploma in the state of Nevada. The official GED examination is administered at the end of the course.
