While Nevada's unemployment ticked up in the month of August, the unemployment rate in Douglas County fell by 0.6 of a percent.According to figures released Friday by the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation, Douglas County's rate decreased from 12.7 percent in July to 12.1 percent in August. The percentage represents the lowest unemployment rate in the county for 2012.The total labor force in the county, however, dipped between the two months, from 22,310 in July to 22,060 in August.
