Cross Country: Douglas strong at Grass Valley Invite

The Douglas High School cross country teams turned in a solid showing at the Grass Valley Invitational at Nevada Union High School last weekend.

The Tiger boys' squad took second out of 11 teams overall while the girls' team was fourth out of nine. In the junior varsity race, Douglas was third out of nine in the boys' race and second out of 10 in the girls' race.

"The team is progressing well and with the healing of a few injuries we'll be doing even better," Douglas coach Jay Frey said.
